Don't Smush the Kids

Today is one of those where I am feeling a little sorry for myself that no one pats me on the back at the end of the day and says:

"Good job, Mommy. You didn't lose, maim, drop, smush, forget to feed, forget to pick up and generally did an okay job of not causing your child any kind of irreparable harm" kind of day. Where is the moment for the Mommy that just does a good job everyday without having to over come anything to do it?

So, in that frame of mind, I say to all of my Mommy Friends - GOOD JOB MOMS! Your kids are lucky and you are AWESOME!!! Thanks for making the world a better place and for raising your kids to be good people.

And not smushing them, cause that would have been bad.
